Crunchy Fruit Crisp

RECIPE DETAILS

Deliciously simple, rustic and not too sweet, this is a perfect dessert or great addition to a Sunday brunch.


5-6 cups  fruit, chopped (fresh or frozen fruit works great)
2/3 cup  Highwood Crossing Organic Rolled Oat Flakes
1/3 cup  Highwood Crossing Organic Muffin and Pancake Mix or

3 tablespoons Highwood Crossing Unbleached All-Purpose Flour mixed with 3 tablespoons Highwood Crossing Whole Wheat Flour

3/4 cup  brown sugar
1 tsp  cinnamon
1/4 cup  Highwood Crossing Organic Canola Oil or butter


Place fruit in 8×8, pie plate or cast-iron skillet. Combine remaining ingredients.  Sprinkle mixture over fruit. Bake at 375ºF for 40 – 45 minutes.


Serve with ice cream or yogurt. Serves 4 – 6
