Garlic Pasta

A simple supper dish with a heart-healthy hit of garlic!
300 grams spaghetti pasta
3 Tbsp Highwood Crossing Organic Canola Oil
6 garlic cloves, sliced thin
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes, dried
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 – 3/4 cup stock, white wine or milk
1/4 – 1/2 cup Parmesan or Pecorino cheese, grated
1 Tbsp parsley, chopped
Cook spaghetti in boiling water.
Meanwhile in a large saucepan, sweat garlic over low heat in oil until golden. Add pepper flakes and salt.
Toss drained pasta into garlic mixture and add desired amount of liquid for sauce. Add cheese and parsley and enjoy.
Makes approximately 4 servings.
